Operations Assistant
Operations Assistant Iowa State University’s Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (ISU CCEE) seeks qualified applicants for an operations assistant. Major duties and responsibilities of the position include managing graduate student fellowships, scheduling classrooms, coordinating building space, renovation and maintenance projects, and department recycling efforts, and administering course evaluations.
Lecturer Iowa State University’s Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (ISU CCEE) invites applications for the position of lecturer.  This is a term teaching faculty position that holds responsibilities primarily contributing to the teaching mission of the department.  This position will be expected to teach and/or develop courses in the areas of construction, structures, transportation, environmental/water resources, or geotechnical/materials engineering or a closely related discipline. This position is for a 1-2 semester term with potential for renewal.  Lecturers hold limited terms, full, or part-time renewable appointments that are not eligible for tenure, but after 3 years have potential to be reviewed for advancement into senior ranks. Candidates are expected to have an excellent record of achievement in teaching or engineering practice in civil, construction or environmental engineering or a closely related discipline.  Successful candidates will have experience that demonstrates capability for long-term leadership in engineering education.  They will also exhibit excellent communication skills, share in our commitment to achieving excellence through diversity and inclusion.
