Highway Design Council
Mission
The mission of the Highway Design Council is to
- Provide students the best practical foundation in highway design to support a highway professional career
- Create stronger connections between the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering with practicing highway design professionals and firms
- Upgrade Iowa State's human and physical resources
Purpose
The purpose of the council is to
- Help the faculty to become up to date on current practice
- Help the department acquire state-of-the-art equipment and software for a new highway design lab
