Mitchell, a junior in civil engineering, is from Scandia, Minnesota, about 40 miles north of the Twin Cities. He's actively involved with Iowa State's American Society of Civil Engineers, Steel Bridge Team, and his church. He's also a community advisor in Friley Hall. Read Mitchell's blog.

Alicia, a junior in construction engineering from Bedford, Iowa, is an active member of the Iowa State student chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America and the ISU Rodeo Club. She's also the co-chair of the annual Cyclone Stampede Rodeo. Read Alicia's Blog.
