Research Objective: The objective of this project is to develop an understanding of the effect of concrete admixtures on roller-compacted concrete (RCC) mixtures and to prepare recommendations for their appropriate use. The project emphasis is on water reducers, set retarders, and evaporation retarders; it does not include the study of air-entraining agents.
