Implementation Activities Supporting the International Technology Scan on Long-Life Concrete Pavements

Research Objective: In May 2006, a team of 13 concrete pavement and materials specialists from the United States visited Canada and 5 countries in Europe to identify the design philosophies, materials requirements, construction practices, and maintenance strategies they use to construct and manage portland cement concrete pavements with long life expectancies. The purpose of this project is to provide support for implementing the Scan Team Implementation Plan recommendations.
