Research Objective: The purpose of this research project was to bring information regarding radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to the sponsor's member companies so that they could take advantage of this emerging technology as it becomes commercially available. It also provided manufacturers with important information regarding the needs of the construction industry so that their future products better address the industry's needs.
