Research Objective: Fly ash generated from coal-based power plants is a useful environmental engineering material. This research studies the use of fly ash for wastewater treatment. Fly ash can potentially be used to remove many contaminants in wastewater. The factors affecting the application of fly ash in wastewater treatment will be studied. The social and environmental effects of the proposed fly ash utilization approach will also be evaluated.
