Research Objective: This project will work closely with Embankment Quality TR492. The embankment quality research program is looking a improving performance of the embankment system, however, field testing has not focused adequately on season changes and spatial variation of the subgrade material directly supporting the pavement system - particularly in terms of developing an understanding of the key engineerin gparameters that will affect reliability based analysis of pavement performance.
