Research Objective: CTRE has provided Minnesota engineers with the Minnesota Mapping Analysis Tool (MnMAT) software. MnMAT software provides users an easy to use interface for the location and analysis of motor vehicle crashes located on Minnesota roadways. The software has been deployed for a year and has enjoyed usage and adoption by a wide group of engineering users. The current release contains data for the years 2000 to 2005 and will soon need additional data for 2006. Users have also requested a short list of enhancements that CTRE will implement.
