Research Objective: 1. To evaluate the performance of different wood preservatives in the field. The evaluation scope will include the treatment type, age of specimen, construction details, exposure conditions, materials used (piling, retaining structure, sturctural member, etc.), compromise of treatment barrier, and any other information required for a thorough evaluation.
2. To review current specifications and testing procedures and determine if they are sufficient to provide the level of timber treatment required for acceptable performance.
