Incident Location Tool Support for Iowa DOT

Research Objective: CTRE has developed a GIS-based incident location tool (ILT) for use with the Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) electronic data capture software being developed and implemented by the Iowa DOT. In addition to being a component of TraCS, a direct interface to Iowa DOT enterprise systems has been implemented to facilitate location capture from paper crash reports.

There is a need for recurring technical assistance and support involving additional enhancements and maintenance of software deployments and for local agency assistance using ILT and the data generated from the integrated ILT/TraCS software.
