Long Weekends

Even though weekends are supposed to be really relaxing, somehow this weekend was the complete opposite of that.  I was on duty in Friley and I was really busy Saturday night.  This wouldn’t be bad but since I have three exams this week, it kind of makes it in for a very long weekend.

I had history exam today and I have a construction management and foundation engineering exams on Wednesday.  I studied and did homework all day and most of the night on Friday for the history exam but luckily a few friends came over and we hung out for awhile; that was the only way that I kept my sanity this weekend.  On Saturday I got up early and continued to study history.  I also worked on my construction management project and got my part of it done.  After I at lunch I took a nap but for some reason I overslept by an hour and a half.  I then worked for most of the evening on history and steels.  In between rounds around Lower Friley I kept working on steels homework until 3:30 in the morning.  I was ready to go to bed but I got a call and I had to go take care of something; I eventually went to be around 4:30 in the morning.

Sunday I worked on homework and studied for history for most of the day.  It was mostly a relaxed day studying on and off and talking and hanging out with friends in between studying.

This morning I had my history exam and I don’t know how well I did.  The matching part of the exam was pretty easy and the identification of terms part wasn’t too horrible.  The essay part of the exam is what got me.  I really didn’t know what the professor was asking on it so I really had to interpret what I was supposed to write.  It didn’t help that I didn’t really the part of the meaning of what was being asked.  I guess we’ll see how it turns out.

Since I have two more exams this week, I will be studying all night tonight and most of the day tomorrow.  Hopefully I can find my spot in the library to get some serious studying done.
