Memories from Thanks giving Break
For the days several weeks ago, I felt a little bit stressful and tired. However, Thanksgiving break’s wonderful time swap everything except happiness when I came back to school again.
Dr. Song is so nice to invite me to have the first thanks giving dinner; at Dr. Song’s home I we had lots of ping pang fun! His wife also makes delicious dishes and I spend my first great day their house! At my friend Sarah’s house we played ping pang, eat the second thanks giving dinner, three things kept in my mind, I talked with little Timisy who is often very serious and shy, he is Sarah’s 7 year old little brother. It’s nice that he would like to talk about his sleeping time, and schooling, I can not forget his cute and serious eyes with a pair of glasses on! And the card game:Apple to Apple, compared with our thick TOEFL words book, I highly recommend learn English words by this kind of fun game!! When we left, all guests lest one sentence at a card and we stick those card to a little tree make with tree branches, what a beautiful “tree”, I friendly tree, I though.
Then I went to Kelsise’s house, spend the rest of my holiday there! It was the one period of the warmest time in my mind! At first I felt maybe it’s not good to stay too long to bother them at such a holiday, but Sharon said She is my American mom and I am always welcome to come this home! I then not fell nervous and embarrass anymore; she encouraged me so much that I could fell I am such a great person at a moment!!! There was so much fun to stay with Mitchell’s family. We played football in a windy afternoon,(I quite because cannot catch anything for a long time thoughJ) Also a lot of thanks giving big meals, Oh I also learned from kelsie’s sister to cook those dessert that I can only buy in grocery before like pumpkin pie and cheesecake, Lauran’s creative decorative makes them cute! Sharon is kielise’s Mom, Oh, she was so kind, and she has patience to every kids including me, I am sometimes still nervous to talk in English but I can talk so much with Sharon without any nervous. I know she was busy and tired to take care of so many kids but she has never complained and always has smile on her face! My friend Kelsie was busy to work at JC Penney these days, she is a tough girl in my mid.
I also miss my other previous roommate Melissa, I remembered she was leaving message on my desk when she leave for home last year and paste a message on our door if I forgot keys.
What a wonderful holiday, I remembered that on thanks giving people often say people or things they fell thanks for, I would say two things without hesitation: first of all, thanks Michelle’s kind to me, also those nice people like my friends and my professor! Second, I would like to gratefully thanks my parents, Thank you Dad and Mom, with your help I come here, the beautiful and rich American enjoy my life!
