Alumni Awards

Thomas Murray (BSCE 1962)
Murray received the Professional Achievement Citation in Engineering (PACE) from the ISU Alumni Association. The award recognizes superior technical or professional accomplishments in the areas of research, development, administration, education and other engineering activity. The citation was established to recognize alumnae/alumni eminently known for their competence and creativity. Murray is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech.

Larry Mattusch (BSCE 1966)
Mattusch has received the NACE Service Award from the Iowa County Engineers Association. He is a retired county engineer for Scott County, Iowa.

W. Scott Cameron (BSCE 1970, MSCE 1975)
Procter & Gamble (P&G) awarded Cameron with the Professional Recognition for Individual Sustained Mastery (PRISM) Award, one of P&G’s highest honors. The highly selective award honors P&G engineers who have made a real difference in P&G through their sustained and exceptional technical contributions. It is awarded to just a few individuals worldwide every two years. The award recognizes Cameron’s 36 years of excellence at P&G. He is a technical expert in the project management and capital systems technologies.

Mark Nahra (BSCE 1984)Nahra was awarded the Special Service Award from the Iowa County Engineers Association. He is a county engineer for Delaware County, Iowa.
