Celebrate the Historic Marston Water Tower May 18

The Martson Water Tower, a campus landmark, was the first of water tower of its kind to be erected west of the Mississippi River in 1895. Use of the water tower was discontinued in 1978 when the university switched to the City of Ames water system.
