AGC Student Chapter Named No. 1 in Nation

Members of AGC spent their 2007 spring break helping families in Mississippi rebuild from Hurricane Katrina.

Ames, Iowa – For the third consecutive year, the Iowa State University student chapter of the Associated Contractors (AGC) of America has been named the Outstanding Student Chapter of the Year. Teh AGC student chapter is a student organization for individuals interested in construction engineering. The Iowa State student chapter organizes educational, social, and community service activities for their students to participate in each year.

The Outstanding Student Chapter award includes a cash prize. The award will be presented to the group in late September at AGC’s Construction Education Committee meeting in Philadelphia.
