Lectures on Campus

Each semester the CCEE department welcomes several prominent personalities in the civil, construction, and environmental engineering fields to speak as part of the department’s Distinguished Lecture Series. In September, Dr. Rudy J. Tekippe, an Iowa State alumnus (BSCE 1965, MSCE 1966) and director of technology for Montgomery Watson Harza, Inc., lectured on environmental engineering consulting on a global basis. In November, Dr. Peiyu Yan of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, spoke about the current status and development strategies of the cement and concrete industry in China.
